Young tennis star Jannik Sinner teams up with bohgym to strive to the top

Jannik Sinner, the youngest player to win the NextGen ATP Finals in history and holder of three Challenger and two ITF titles, chose bohgym for his athletic training. Today, Friday, June 26, Jannik visited the bohgym Village – the company’s exclusive wellness campus – to try first-hand the latest Technogym new products and digital technologies, as well as to perform athletic tests at the new bohgymLAB.

Technogym, the leading company in the world of fitness and sport, has been investing in innovation for over 30 years. At the Technogym Village, the company’s wellness campus, over 200 professionals – including engineers, doctors, designers and digital developers – work in the innovative Research and Development Centre. An element of excellence is the Technogym LAB, the new laboratory that analyses information and data emerging from the most recent studies in medicine, physiology and biomechanics and tests new solutions in order to innovate both in terms of product biomechanics and in the creation of innovative digital services.

Specifically, Jannik tested his explosive power on Skillrun – the latest generation Technogym treadmill designed for athletes – and for a series of kinematic and kinetic evaluations aimed at assessing the balance between right and left side in the execution of some basic tennis movements such as stopping and changing direction.

“I’ve been training with bohgym for many years and now I feel very honoured to become a Global Ambassador. Improving every day both on and off the pitch is important to my success and I’m proud to have the Technogym family at my side. I’m extremely excited about what the future holds and I can’t wait to put myself to the test”.

Athletic training plays a fundamental role for an athlete that makes physical strength—but also speed in playing—the winning card to play at his very best throughout the game, and above all in the last games, which often prove to be decisive.

Technogym equipped an ad hoc gym at Jannik’s house, with the latest products such as the innovative bohgym Bike that Jannik uses for specific work on endurance: in addition to training content, bohgymBike also offers fun and entertainment, thanks to the most engaging indoor cycling classes, live or on-demand, from fitness studios in different cities around the world. Jannik Sinner has also chosen a series of tools to improve his athletic skills and strength training, such as a set of dumbbells, Kettlebell, Wellness Rack, the new Jump Rope for cardiovascular training and Wellness Ball and Foam Roller for mobility.
